Our Mission

Development Culture, LLC, is not your typical consulting firm. We're all about people and how they can make a real difference in organizations. We help with strategic planning and project design, but we do it in a way that brings people together, makes them work better, and helps them grow.

Our main goal is to give power to both organizations and individuals by keeping people at the heart of everything we do. We design projects that are successful and sustainable, because they create a culture of respect, trust, and transparency.

We're different because we focus on what really matters and include all who have an interest in the success of a project. We don't just look at the usual measures of success; we care about creating an environment where people can do their best, are happy, and feel appreciated.

We make workplaces awesome by focusing on growth and development. We offer customized programs that build trust, teamwork, and excitement, so everyone can find passion for what they do.

Nothing is wasted. All of our life experiences, both the highs and lows, have molded us into the unique individuals we are. In order to solve the complex multifaceted problems we face today, the world requires all of our distinct and unique perspectives. Too often, we find ourselves feeling stuck, paralyzed by the weight of our circumstances or overwhelmed by the magnitude of the problems we face. We become reactive, rather than taking charge of our own destiny. I want to help people proactively find their passion, and ensure their days are filled with purpose and intention; and that, in turn, we can all contribute positively to our communities.

Yvette's Story

Although I was raised in poverty, my parents made incredible sacrifices to expose me to off-Broadway plays and road trips. This exposure, combined with my participation in a program that bussed low-income students to nearby affluent schools, allowed me to witness firsthand, the striking differences in the access and opportunities available to people of color, particularly those from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Watching my parents work multiple jobs just to make ends meet, I developed a profound understanding of the power we each possess to shape our lives beyond our current circumstances. This eye-opening experience ignited a passion within me to ensure that every person, regardless of their background or experiences, has the opportunity to pursue their dreams.

Throughout my professional journey, I've held diverse roles in international affairs. These include serving as the Director of International Projects at Daytona State College, Liaison Officer for the Department of Defense at United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), and dedicating almost a decade as an Advisor to the President of the Dominican Republic. I also obtained a Juris Doctorate, a master's degree in Strategic Planning and Quality Control, and master's certificate as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.  However, after many years of self-discovery and reflection, my purpose became clear - to utilize my skills and expertise to solve problems, ignite creativity, and empower individuals. I live passionately and purposefully, and my mission is to help you do the same.​

Through our work, we aim to redirect attention to the importance of living a life of balance, growth and purpose.
